With more than 30 years at Dean Newbery — and as an owner since 2002 — Samantha is a seasoned leader in advisory, assurance and taxation services. Over three decades she has worked alongside clients through periods of growth, transition, succession and change, and that longevity has given her a rare depth of perspective on what genuinely helps a business succeed over the long term.

Her collaborative approach and extensive experience make her a trusted partner for clients looking to meet their compliance obligations while uncovering the opportunities and navigating the challenges that come with running a business. Samantha advises across private and family businesses, Local Government, construction and property clients with particular strength in business structuring, taxation planning, financial reporting and strategic advisory. 

Many of the relationships she holds today span decades and, in a number of cases, more than one generation of the same family or organisation.

Samantha's depth of knowledge, combined with her commitment to delivering practical, value-added advice, ensures clients always have the insights they need to make confident decisions. She is a considered listener who takes the time to understand each client's circumstances and objectives before recommending a course of action, and she is equally comfortable working through a complex technical question or talking through the bigger-picture direction of a business.
