Itisha has audit experience across a broad range of sectors, including Local Government, charities, aged care, not-for-profit organisations and private entities. Her technical capability and strong attention to detail ensure that audits are consistently performed to a high standard, and that clients receive clear, practical outcomes from the process.

After starting her audit experience at another mid-tier Adelaide firm, Itisha joined Dean Newbery in 2025. She has strong experience in delivering audits efficiently and in accordance with the objectives set out in the audit plan, managing engagements from planning through to completion while keeping clients informed at each stage.

Itisha is able to draw on her experience to identify best practice solutions to sometimes complex issues when compiling audit recommendations. She takes a considered, risk-based approach to her work — focusing effort where it matters most and translating technical findings into recommendations that clients can genuinely act on. Her familiarity with the reporting frameworks applicable to public sector and not-for-profit entities, including the requirements of the Local Government Act 1999 and Australian Accounting Standards, allows her to provide clients with reliable guidance on financial reporting, internal controls and governance matters.

Itisha values building long-term working relationships with the clients she serves, and is known for her responsiveness and collaborative approach with client finance teams. She is committed to ongoing professional development and to supporting the growth of junior members of the audit team.
